Viking Yachts 50 Convertible – 1992

This Viking 50 Convertible (1992) is a proven offshore sportfishing yacht combining Viking’s renowned build quality with solid cruising comfort. The vessel has benefitted from significant upgrades in 2024–2025 and is offered in ready-to-use condition.
She is powered by twin MAN D2840 LXE diesel engines, each delivering 1,050 HP. The engines have approximately 3,850 running hours and were serviced in 2024, including replacement of all injectors. A new 3,000-liter aluminum fuel tank was installed in 2024, providing added reliability and range. Electrical power is supplied by a Paguro 9000 diesel generator (8 kW, 230V, 50Hz), installed in 2025 and showing only around 1800 operating hours.
The flybridge is equipped with practical and proven electronics, including Garmin GPS, Icom VHF with distress function, Raymarine Tridata (depth, speed, trip) and a Raymarine ST6002 autopilot. Maintenance items such as antifouling, anodes and batteries were renewed in 2025.
The interior features a classic teak finish with a spacious salon and new upholstery (2024). The galley is fitted with a stainless steel American-style refrigerator, electric cooktop and hot-and-cold pressurized water system and cooker. Accommodation consists of three cabins and two heads, making the yacht suitable for longer stays on board.
Externally, the large cockpit is well laid out for fishing, with rod holders, bait preparation area, tackle storage and cockpit lighting. A fixed hardtop over the flybridge and a bimini over the cockpit provide additional comfort and protection.
This Viking 50 represents a well-maintained and thoughtfully upgraded example of a classic American sportfisher, suitable for offshore fishing as well as comfortable cruising.
