Description
Calypso is a 1987 Taiwan Overseas Yachts 42', truly a classic trawler. Overall length of 42 feet, durable fiberglass, displacement hull shape for stability and comfort on the water. Powered by twin 210 hp Caterpillar 3208N inboard engines, this trawler offers a comfortable cruising speed of 10 knots - perfect for leisurely cruising. Only 2800 hours on the engines, and they're ready for many more adventures.
The interior boasts two roomy private staterooms - a spacious Master Aft with queen island berth, and Forward V-Berth cabin, each with private head - perfect accommodations for family and friends.
Well-maintained, and as scheduled, Calypso was hauled out in November 2025: bottom was painted and bottom maintenance was completed on December 1, 2025. Calypso is an ideal choice for a live-aboard, currently docked in Marathon - a wonderful location halfway between Miami and Key West, ready to make more journeys or just hang around in the Florida Keys!
