Moonen 72 Explorer Yacht

The Moonen 72 “Royal Moon” is seriously available for a new owner.
Dutch design and quality. In 2005, it underwent a refit (see specifications) including a completely new aft section at Moonen.

Spacious and bright salon with a modern galley very suitable for long stays on board. It has been lived on with much pleasure and comfort for the last ten years. We can assist with a mooring at the Nieuwe Meer in Amsterdam where living on board is allowed (registration not possible). Trade-in of a yard ship and/or partial financing negotiable.

Layout Below deck: Forepeak VIP cabin with a double bed, escape hatch, and private bathroom. On the port side, a guest cabin with two single beds and also a private bathroom. On the starboard side, a large storage closet under the stairs to the upper deck. Further back is a generous owner's cabin spanning the entire width of the ship with a bed of 200x200cm, of course also with a private bathroom with shower and toilet.

The wheelhouse has sliding doors on both sides to the gangway, super handy during maneuvering and docking. There is also a staircase to the flybridge in the wheelhouse. Behind the wheelhouse is the very spacious salon with large windows and sliding doors to the aft deck. The ship is equipped with all conveniences including a modern galley with dishwasher, induction cooktop, oven, and microwave. On the starboard side at the back, there is a staircase to the cabin in the aft section as well as the entrance to the engine room with standing height. The renewed aft section has a door to the swimming platform, a toilet, a cabin with two beds, and a washing machine. There is even a sauna and still enough storage for, for example, (electric) bicycles.

In 2021, the hull was painted by Van Den Enden yacht painters with 2-component paint.

Complete refit at Moonen in 2005:
Completely new aft section with swimming platform and large safety exit. Spacious flybridge with Opacmare hydraulic boat crane and tender (2005), hydraulic mast with a clearance height of 6 meters. New aft compartment set up as a crew or guest cabin. Equipped with sauna, washing machine, and dryer. Propulsion by 2x Volvo Penta 228 HP engines, Onan 25 kW generator, hydraulic bow thruster, hydraulic anchor winch, and capstan on the aft deck.

Layout: 3 cabins plus crew cabin, sleeping places for 8 people. Large owner's cabin, cabins with teak paneling, modern salon, and designer stainless steel kitchen with Miele appliances including dishwasher (2005). Large aft deck with teak table.
