Californian 48 Motor Yacht

The 48 Californian Motor Yacht continues to be a very desirable vessel due to her spacious layout, high quality construction and well designed and executed finish.  Southern Star II features a huge fully enclosed aft deck with factory hardtop and newer teak furniture.  The interior has a large salon, fully equipped galley and dinette, master stateroom aft with en suite head and stall shower. Two additional staterooms and heads accommodate plenty of guests.  This very comfortable cruising boat has beautiful traditional lines, is in good condition and is kept in a fresh water covered berth.  

Enter from the side decks via the teak and glass solid wing doors to the expansive aft deck with factory hardtop, newer teak furniture and snap in teak and holly look vinyl mat flooring and full canvas and isinglass enclosure for year-round enjoyment.  The aft deck also features a wet bar with sink, wine refrigerator, countertop and built in storage.  Three steps up take you to the large flybridge with built-in seating with updated upholstery and plenty of seating for captain, crew and guests.  Three swivel seats at the upper helm station provide good viewing and line of site while underway.  Like the aft deck, the flybridge is fully enclose with canvas and isinglass and feature teak and holly vinyl matt snap in flooring. 

The interior layout includes a large salon, full galley and dining area and three private staterooms, and three heads.  The main Salon has a newer comfortable electric reclining leather sofa to starboard with tasteful coffee table and plenty of built-in storage cabinetry.  A few steps down and open to the salon, the Galley is to starboard and features a full-size residential refrigerator with separate top door freezer, 3 burner electric stovetop with oven, microwave and double stainless sink and ample storage.  To the port adjacent to the Galley is a U-shaped dinette with built in comfortable seating.

The master stateroom features a queen centerline full walk around bed, lots of built in teak cabinetry and hanging lockers, with vanity and an en-suite head with separate stall shower.  Two other guest staterooms, one forward and one aft, have large hanging lockers, ample drawer and cabinet space.  All the interior of this boat is finished with beautiful, warm teak wood cabinetry, doors and drawers as well as accents which have all been well maintained.  All interior spaces feature newer carpet throughout, three AC/Heat units and LED lighting.
