Gozzo F.lli Mileo 9.50 cabin 1976, magnificent specimen kept in impeccable condition with complete aesthetic and technical maintenance work.
External description: Teak cockpit with removable inlaid table, complete cushions, full cover with side awnings. High walkways up to the bow with teak sunbathing area and electric winch. Covered command console with renewed electronics and new hydraulic steering and autopilot.
Internal description: dinette with double expandable sofas in king size and removable central table, kitchen with microwave, double bunk at the bow. Interiors perfectly maintained with brass portholes and complete bathroom.
A bit of history of the shipyard: for the master shipwrights, working with wood is like playing the strings of a violin. Most of the wooden Gozzi sailing in the waters of Argentario are the work of the Fratelli Mileo shipyard. The precious material, the elegance of the line, the precision of the board fittings make one think more of the work of a luthier than that of a ship carpenter, and it is for this reason that their gozzi have earned the nickname "Stradivari of the Sea." Fifteen hours of work a day to see no more than 5 specimens completed each year. Elm, oak, and ash for the framework, mahogany for the planking, teak, solid or plywood for the decking. The Mileo gozzi are highly sought after and built as unique pieces.
