Narrowboat 40'6" Steel/GRP Cruiser Stern 'MARY JOSEPHINE'

Here we have a 40'6" steel-hulled narrowboat with a GRP coachroof, 'Mary Josephine'. Reportedly built between the early 1970s and mid-1980s, the cruiser stern narrow boat has a hull that is in reasonable condition (reportedly with a baseplate reading 4.7-4.8mm, fore sideplates at 5.3 mm, aft sideplates at 5.0 mm, and an uxter plate at 4.7mm). However, the interior is in great need of attention. The boat is powered by a BMC 4-cylinder diesel engine BL180 with serial number 3318.

When these boats are removed from the waterways, we receive nothing other than a sparsely populated valuation report on the vessel. Given this, please note that we cannot guarantee the condition of any aspect of the boat. Having said that, the boat was recovered when floating and has been stored on hard-standing since then, so we have no reason to believe that the hull may be compromised. The boat is being sold as seen.
