A unique opportunity to own a piece of history from the last century. Kettenburg Boat Works was the go to sail & power boat builder in San Diego from the 1930's to 1980's. ''OLIVE OYL'' is a very nice Picnic/Express cruiser and a great example of their work. The vessel was purchased in Los Angeles and brought to Driscoll Boat Works in San Diego and went through a three year 99% completed restoration for the owner Chuck Driscoll. Her hull is solid Carvel mahogany planks on oak framing with bronze fasteners, Awlgrip LP paint throughout, fresh bottom paint, full canvas covers and powered by a economical 70 hp Yanmar turbo diesel. ''OLIVE Oyl'' has been the family for over ten years and is a veteran of countless Catalina channel crossings and is still in use today.
