KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Beginning this month, buyers of new Bayliner, Maxum or Trophy boats from participating U.S. Marine dealers will receive "preloaded" Master Card debit cards, according to a press release from US Marine. Called Gas N' Go, the sales promotion program will last through the end of May.

Ranging from $350 to $2,000, the amount of purchase funds on the debits will vary with the length of the boat purchased. The cards can be used for up to three months after they're issued.

"The amount is roughly equivalent to the average amount a boater would spend on fuel for operating a boat that size for the summer," said Dave
Taylor, senior vice president sales and marketing for US Marine, in the release. "Everyday, US Marine is working with our dealers looking for ways to make it easy for people to get out on the water and stay on the water longer."

To be eligible for the Gas 'N Go promotion customers must buy and take delivery of their new boat by May 31, 2003. The Bayliner 175 is not included in the program.
