Pershing Yachts' latest marvel, the GTX80 Sportbridge Yacht, blends cutting-edge design with luxury and elegance on the open seas.

This announcement comes on the heels of the brand's 115-foot GTX116 flagship, which made its debut in the spring of 2023. The GTX80, a stunning 80-foot luxury yacht, exemplifies Pershing's mastery in blending indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, topped with a distinctive "sportbridge" on the upper deck.

Model Background
The creation of the GTX80 is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, helmed by Piero Ferrari, the acclaimed design expertise of Vallicelli Design, and the precision of the Group’s Engineering Department. This synergy has resulted in a yacht that marries advanced technologies with the hallmark craftsmanship of Pershing, crafted at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility.

Key Features And Layout
Boasting a 19-foot beam and a 6.5-foot draft, the GTX80 offers a spacious four-cabin layout, accommodating up to 8 guests and including additional crew quarters with two beds. The yacht’s exterior lines bear the unmistakable stamp of Pershing’s design ethos, combining iconic stylistic elements with bold innovations. Notable among these is the hull’s near-vertical bow and a continuous, slightly convex sheer-line. The bow’s bulwarks feature a unique longitudinal slot for lightness, while the stern bulwarks serve a dual purpose, integrating the winches and transforming into swing-down lateral terraces for enhanced water interaction.

Innovative Stern Platform & Sundeck
The stern platform, a pivotal aspect of the yacht, boasts three different positions. It can remain standard, be raised to expand the aft living area along with the open lateral terraces, or be utilized for launching tenders. The sundeck is a generous 247 square feet, significantly surpassing the category average by 60%, yet skillfully balances this with ample internal space. This is achieved partly through the sleek arch-shaped deckhouse and the optional carbon fabric hard-top, a novel feature that ensures a light superstructure and harmonious finish.

Main Deck, Cabins & Heads
The main deck introduces an innovative open galley-bar layout, fully integrated into the lounge and extending to the cockpit, serving as a central hub that highlights the meticulous interior design. The heads (bathrooms) all echo this theme with metallic lacquered panels and sculptural furniture in a matching sky blue tone.

The cabins all offer luxurious comfort and privacy, strategically positioned to maintain separation from the crew quarters, which are accessible from an outdoor cockpit area via a concealed staircase leading to the flybridge. The master cabin features cloud-effect sky blue leather paneling, with varying spacings and widths, embodying the yacht's overarching style concept.

The Pershing GTX80 is a planing yacht powered by three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, achieving a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots. The yacht is poised to receive CE Class A certification, ensuring the highest safety standards for boats under 79 feet.
