charter yacht TivoliOn Friday, I posted details about last-minute booking discounts for yachts seeking some extra charter business before the end of the current season in the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. This weekend I received word from two more yachts offering similar deals for charters between now and June in the Caribbean and British Virgin Islands.

First is the 90-foot Doggersbank motoryacht Tivoli, whose main saloon is shown in the photograph at right. Tivoli's owner just changed the yacht's weekly base rate of $29,500 to an inclusive rate during May and June charters in the Caribbean. The rate is good for itineraries that run round-trip from Antigua and includes all food, ship's bar, local taxes, and fuel (which typically are paid in addition to the weekly base rate). Tivoli takes six guests.

Second is the 60-foot Pas de Deux, a BVI-based sailing catamaran that dropped its weekly base rates to 2007 levels this past September. Now, in addition to those lowered rates, the yacht is offering seven nights for the price of six on any charters that take place before July 7. Pas de Deux takes two to six guests at weekly base rates from $16,500 to $19,500.

Tivoli is part of the Nicholson Yachts charter fleet, while Pas de Deux is part of the fleet at CharterPortBVI. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about these yachts or help you book them at the discounted rates.
