Brr!

I standup paddleboard right through the winter on Narragansett Bay. But I choose my days. And it's salt water... if icebergs like this ever appeared, I'd definitely stay inside.

So I have to admire Karol Garrison, who not only trusts his board will stand up to a meeting with some serious bergs, but starts off his adventure by jumping straight into the water. I do my best to stay dry, before, during, and after my paddle—it's a great day if only my boots get wet.

Hopefully this will make you feel a little bit warmer, wherever you are today.
