Sailboat manufacturer J Boats will host its Mid-Winter Rendezvous March 9 at the TPI Composites manufacturing facility in Warren, R.I., where J Boats are built.
The event - being held for a fifth year - is sponsored by Newport, R.I.-based J Boats and TPI. It is open to all J Boat owners.
Visitors can tour J Boat's state-of-the-art boatbuilding facility and see how the boats are made. They also will be able to meet the founders of J Boats and TPI.
Experts from companies such as Hall Spars, Harken, Lewmar, Edson, Yanmar and others will answer questions, and showgoers can participate in owner-oriented seminars on construction, engine maintenance, rigging and tuning, and sail trim.
