For one, we do not overload our designs with untried and unreliable equipment. To us, reliability and safety far outweigh experimenting with some new unproven piece of technology. Then everything is laid out for accessibility and ease of maintenance. The Krogen 60 Open benefits from the same attention to weight distribution and utilization on reducing weight while maximizing strength. Hull construction includes use of American-made, Cook gelcoat. Hand-laid Knytex fiberglass construction with Corecell closed-cell PVC sandwich core is utilized in the topsides.
