    Switch 51

    Saint Augustine, Florida

    $475,000

The Switch 51 is a classic, high performance world voyager designed by VPLP. She was built with high tech materials and techniques at Sud Composites in Sete, France. Sud built 18 of these fine performance catamarans from 2000 to 2007, at which time the yard was taken over by Swiss Cat, another renowned builder of boutique performance cats.  During the early years at Sud Composites, The Multihull Company was the North American distributor and we sold several of these exceptional cats to our customers, all of whom loved the boats and sailed great distances in them safely and swiftly.  One of our customers raced his Switch 51 and took winning honors in every race he entered.  But for all that, the Switch is a very comfortable liveaboard voyager. Her two aft master cabins are very spacious and her forward port V-berth is double bed size.  TREBUCHET is a 2000 Switch 51 (hull # 1) in good condition and well equipped for liveaboard cruising. She is a fully kitted catamaran ready to sail anywhere in the world.  Just take a look at her full specs to see all the gear and equipment.  Her daggerboards and sleek hulls give her the ability to point much higher to the wind than the typical keel equipped catamaran.  She will easily average 9 to 11 knots over a 24 hour period in favorable conditions and she is capable of high teens in surfing and high wind conditions. Unlike comparable Outremer 50 to 55 of this vintage, she is all composite above the waterline (single skin vinlylester resin under the waterline) with all foam cored hull and even foam cored furniture.  Her wider flared hulls will carry far greater payloads without bogging down. The Switch 51 is a fantastic option for any customers looking to go places in style - she is fast, attractive, and comfortable.  You can have the all the advantages of a modern performance-oriented catamaran without the price tag of a new build design. TREBUCHET is currently located in St Augustine, FL and available for showings by appointment.

    2002 ShearWater 39

    ShearWater 39

    Chaguaramas, Trinidad and Tobago
    2002
    $70,000

PRICE REDUCED by $25K! Motivated seller! Offers welcomed.  Shoestring, perhaps the most renowned Shearwater 39 of all, is reluctantly up for sale, her current owner no longer able to do her justice. Fitted out and launched in 2002 by Peter Muzik, a well known South African sailing character, for the specific purpose of completing a circumnavigation, she was an ideal choice for the task ahead. Classically beautiful lines disguise a fast, stable, and smooth-riding hull form, providing a wonderful platform for covering large distances in safety and comfort. Her clipper bow keeps her decks dry and her optional long bowsprit creates a larger foretriangle for greater sail options. Likewise, the masthead inner forestay provides better sail options with the added bonus of a more securely supported mast. An inner-inner forestay up to the top spreaders takes her storm jib, both inner stays using Highfield levers for deck quick-detachment. Twin backstays, running backstays, a twin-spreader high duty Sparcraft mast, round off a vessel fit-for-purpose. Built to Lloyds specifications for blue-water sailing, this was exactly her raison d’etré. Solo sailing presents no shortcomings, with her direct-to-rudder windvane steering system, powerful autopilot, and well equipped cockpit. Lewmar 56st primary winches make sail trimming a breeze; everything about this yacht has been well-considered. This is no pampered yacht, being well exercised and pushed to made up for her current owner’s shortcomings, which she has always done unfailingly. Her price reflects the fact that a spruce-up would not go unappreciated. All new electronics in 2016/7 and repowered with a Yanmar 3JH40 in 2018(currently with a tad over 300hrs) mean major expenses are avoided. If easy shorthanded sailing, plus owning the most beautiful yacht in the marina/anchorage tick your boxes, then Shoestring deserves your serious consideration.

MAGIC Meet MAGIC, likely one of the nicest Cherubini 44’s on the water.  While in the hands of the previous owner, MAGIC spent 10 years in a climate controlled warehouse undergoing a major refit.  The current owner purchased Magic in 2021 and has continued with extensive upgrades including several new sails, electronics, batteries, bow thruster, and more.  This is a boat that wants for nothing and is ready to take her new owner to distant horizons.   Vessel overview MAGIC is truly a one-of-a-kind find for the Cherubini aficionado or sailor who has a soft spot for the classics. The unmistakable lines of the Cherubini 44 Ketch are borne from a rich history and well-known lineage dating back to the 1920's. From the light air performance, to the offshore blue water capability, the unmatched craftsmanship and design throughout put this boat in a league of its own. The past two owners dedication to restoring her to pristine condition, while updating numerous items along the way, has resulted in a truly stunning vessel. Powered by a Mercedes Benz 76hp diesel, and a full set of new or nearly new sails, she's ready to take her next owner anywhere.  She sleeps 6 comfortably, has an incredible mahogany interior and even with all the updated systems still feels like you're stepping back in time while giving you a true appreciation for the craftsmanship that so often is lacking in today's boats.

    Voyage Mayotte

    Georgetown, Bahamas
    1996
    $239,500

S/V Swish is a 1996 Mayotte 47 catamaran. The Mayotte 47 is the precursor to the Voyage 50 as Voyage Yachts bought Mayotte around 1996. Overall identical except the Voyage has extended Sugar Scoops. She is a comfortable, good looking catamaran with an outstanding galley up and main salon, large well protected cockpit, and four en-suite, Queen sized berths with an additional single captains berth. Swish has been lived aboard and well cared for with a few owner captained crew charters during the past seven years we have owned her. She is ready for some lucky people to take her anywhere in the world. There are 4 queen cabins with heads and one single cabin in the starboard hull. Very large U shaped galley adjacent to the large main salon. All Mayotte Cats are CE Certified and widely acknowledged for their quality, performance, ease of handling and low maintenance. She sails to weather very well. Her interior is comfortable and inviting with 6ft 6 inch headroom and lots of ventilation, and the saloon is spacious and offers great views of the surroundings. This yacht has 4 spacious cabins each with it’s own bath, accommodating up to 8 passengers who can sail and play in comfort. The engines are not in living area but in dedicated separate engine rooms. Her sailplan is sufficient for good performance and well rigged, the Main sail and dinghy, with telescoping boom derrick, are hoisted with an electric winch. Its extra wide beam offers outstanding stability, safety and exceptional space in the huge saloon, cockpit and decks. The beautiful gourmet upper level galley shares its large panoramic-view windows with the saloon and bar that form an exceptional airy and bright integrated entertainment area. This yacht has a huge amount of volume allowing for ample storage. The comfortable 4 cabin en-suite layout would be ideal for chartering or extended family cruising. The deck areas are wide, flat and safe with a large forward deck area. The cockpit is massive with plenty of seating and entertaining area. S/V Swish can be beached or stand on keels without damaging rudders. Swish is currently sailing in the Caribbean   She is in good condition with significant upgrades, including hauled and bottom painted. She sails well, tacks easily, has better motion then her smaller cousins. Just hauled in September 2022 at R&B boatyard in Spanish Wells where two coats of long lasting bottom paint was professionally applied. Swish is sail-away ready.   Please contact me for 6 minute walk through video!

RECENT SURVEY REPORT DONE BY PROFESSIONAL INDEPENDENT SURVEYOR AVAILABLE ON DEMAND! OWNER SAYS BRING ALL OFFERS!!!!! Meet Isokratia! This 60ft IsoCatamaran was designed by one of the world's most famous catamaran designers, Kurt Hughes. Only premium materials were used in building the hulls and superstructure of this cat - vacuum bagged composite wood west system epoxy. Further to that, custom-designed and carefully assembled cabinetry and furniture, built of finest materials, gives the whole yacht that flagship feel. All of that comes with the performance package for which Kurt Hughes designs are famously known. "Isokratia" is safe and forgiving at any sea state condition and she will sail when most standard, high production charter cats would be tucked in their marinas. She is built to EC - RDC (Recreational Craft Standards) and CE Certified and was modified so all saloon and cabins are minimum 2.25 meters in height to avoid head accidents.  She is designed by American designer Kurt Hughes and was built by Boat Builders in Thailand. The building was supervised by UK naval architect and engineer Paul Shannon. Registered under Cyprus flag, with VAT fully paid. "Isokratia" is a strongly built all-weather boat that can sail into any weather. Currently she is used for family holidays, 2 to 4 months every year, sailing the Greek waters and then she retreats every winter to a dry dock in a marina near Athens airport. She can be inspected and surveyed any time. Two new Volvo Penta D2 75 diesel turbo engines were fitted in May 2022. 2 new engine control mother boards, new hydraulic steering tubes and cylinders. The reefing system is a single line one, so that if the need to reef the sails arises, this can easily be done from the cockpit, without the need for anyone to go forward. An important safety consideration. On our boats the winches are all electric for ease of handling, particularly if shorthanded or if one is lacking the strength of youth. Price reduced. Sellers will consider all serious offers! Etincelle 60 COOL CAT was built by the Tecna yard in Brazil, best known for the Dolphin catamarans. She is hull #3 of a series of 6 sister-ships and was launched in 2000. Tecna is a household name at The Multihull Company as it is the builder of the better known Dolphin 430 and Dolphin 460s. Our company sold a few dozen of the new Dolphin 430s/460s and we continue to sell them second-hand all over the world. They are known for quality of craftsmanship and outstanding sailing performance.  A carbon-epoxy construction, COOL CAT is designed and built for reliable, blue-water performance. The centerpiece of the yacht is a rotating, carbon wing mast with all textile standing rigging (standing rigging replaced in 2016), and carbon fiber Park Avenue boom. The mast was cured in an oven. The boat is equipped with recent Calvert performance sails: carbon-composite mainsail, carbon-composite, self-taking jib, a 2022 gennaker and two spinnakers. Moving forward along the wide decks you note the carbon composite dagger-boards outboard. And ahead, the long, narrow bows and the long trampoline take your breath away. The distinguishing feature of this cat is the limited footprint of the bridge-deck in relation to the waterline length. This design is all about keeping weight down – just under 20,000 pounds or 10 tons – and centered. This cat’s very long legs and minimal deck volume give it a sea-kindly motion especially in choppy or rough seas that in turn allow high average speeds - where other boats hobby horse. The bridge deck clearance is a rare 95 centimeters (over 3 feet).   The low-profile coach-roof gives you excellent access to the boom, mainsail, lazy jacks and stack pack for stowing the main, accessing reef lines or maneuvering underway.  The headroom inside the salon is 1,95 meters.  Moving back to the stern, we have a view on the extra-long sugar scoops and you will note the significant distance between the aft beam and transoms - a real design difference here with even the more modern performance cats that offer very little waterline length behind the bridge-deck. The davits hold a new 14 foot RIB dinghy with 40HP Yamaha 2 stroke outboard engine. An elegant, carbon fiber frame holds two 380 watt solar panels. For the pleasure of helming this speedster, two rear tiller steering stations are equipped with Raymarine wind instruments and autopilot repeaters.    COOL CAT is a superbly constructed, simple, performance cat with beautiful lines. FURTHER PRICE REDUCTION of Euro 100K to 795.000 Euros. Seller is building a new day charter cat. Bring offers. This 82' Maxi catamaran was specifically designed and constructed for day charter. She is certified by VERITAS for 170 passengers (including max. 6 crew). Her sheer size, payload capacity and safety equipment put her in a class of her own among day charter cats.   Her hulls are composite construction (fiberglass and epoxy resin over foam core) and her superstructure is aluminum. She was built to very strict VERITAS standards at the H2X  shipyard in La Ciotat, France and is perhaps the largest purpose-built day charter cat in the world. Epoxy construction and longitudinal stringers that run the full length of the hull make for an especially stiff and robust construction. Her very high bridge-deck clearance give her blue-water capability. She features a huge covered deck to accommodate a large dance floor, seated dining space for 120 pax, a large outdoor galley/bar with sink, refrigeration, ice maker and high-capacity grill. She has a restaurant-grade kitchen in the port hull including 1.5 cubic meter cold storage capacity, 360 plate/hour dishwasher and crew quarters for six with a complete navigation station. Guest bathrooms are located aft in each hull accessed by stairways. The wheelhouse is forward and protected by a full glass enclosure.  She is powered by twin VOLVO 180 HP turbos located in very large engine rooms. The engines drive shafts with MAXPROP three-blade folding propellers of 30 inch diameter that will drive the boat at 10 knots. Two 17 KVA KOHLER generators (one in each engine room) provide ample power to the large energy requirements which include a "nightclub" level audio-entertainment system.     After her launch in France in 2011, she has operated in the South of France where she very successfully accommodates 14,000 pax in the spring/summer/fall. She was briefly moved to Saint Martin for the 2015 winter season and returned to France. So she is ocean capable.  If you are a professional charter operator with high capacity needs, this cat is the state-of-the-art solution.

Huge price reduction to $1,200,000. Bring serious offers!  The Moxie 61 TOSCA was created to bring cruisers what racers have enjoyed for years: fast, safe, no-compromise sailing. With one extra twist: sailing in luxury. TOSCA offers an impeccable pedigree and luxurious appointments in an ultra-light, all-carbon construction. Safe, user-friendly, and featuring ocean-tested solutions, TOSCA reflects VPLP's 25 year history of record-setting designs. With lines that spell speed and elegance, TOSCA is a world-class multihull for all sailors - monohull racers, luxury cruisers, and anyone seeking high performance, comfort, and safety at sea. With numerous performance, bluewater catamarans on offer in today's market, how does one distinguish between another polyester production cat and a Stradivarius. Quality of construction, materials, design features, equipment, volume, amenities? An all carbon-epoxy over core-cell foam construction, TOSCA sails with the best of the very high performance catamarans. She is equipped with a rotating carbon wing mast, all textile standing rigging, carbon dagger-boards and rudders. VPLP developed hull shapes for the Moxie 61 directly from the ORMA 60 class. The mast is placed on the aft salon beam to optimize weight placement and create a large foretriangle for powerful headsails.   The distinctive, beam to beam (TEUG) coach-roof design expands the interior space and headroom. TOSCA has salon, cabin, bathroom volumes and headroom that rival cruising cats from France and Poland in this size range. Huge, tempered glass windows at the front of the salon provide unobstructed views forward.   In 2017-2018, TOSCA underwent an extensive $400K refit including:  New LORIMA carbon rotating wing mast All new standing textile rigging by FUTURE FIBRES New NORTH sails (main, solent and genoa) Two new 80 HP YANMAR engines All new electronics including B&G plotters, radar, wind, log, speed repeaters and transducers New MASTERVOLT Lithium-Ion battery pack  Over the last three years, the yacht has been continuously improved with a priority to comfort and practicality. Helm seats with generous binnacle mounts for plotters and instruments were installed. Folding biminis were placed over the helm seats. Handholds were added around the coach-roof and steps were lengthened to facilitate safe movement on deck. A full cockpit enclosure (isenglass) was fitted for all weather protection in the cockpit. Recently, all canvas was replaced including mainsail cover, winch covers. The salon and cockpit upholstery is all new.    An 8KVA generator was added to run large AC consumers: battery chargers and inverters, air-conditioning, water-maker, electric winches. The entire 24V system was refitted with new toggle switch breakers to back-up the digital switches.    The electronics were upgraded with new B&G plotters at each helm and the chart table. New fuel bladders were fitted and the water tanks consolidated. New sail-drives have been purchased and delivered and will be installed at the next haul out. A complete list of upgrades is listed in the attached inventory.  New sail-drives and rudder bearings installed in May 2023. New bottom paint in May 2023.      TOSCA is in Freeport, Bahamas and we would be delighted to show this truly groundbreaking design to motivated prospects.   Moxie 61 TOSCA was the elapsed and corrected time winner of the ARC Europe 2014.

Are you ready for a comfortable, exciting sailing life? Meet: 2009 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 "Saya" Owner's Version 3 cabin / 3 heads ***2022 Survey Available for Serious buyers*** “Saya” is a popular Owner’s Version (“Maestro”) Catamaran from the well-respected French factory, Fountaine Pajot and the world-famous design team of Joubert – Nivelt. The first thing you notice when you board this vessel is the curved modern clean lines throughout. From when you step aft through to the cockpit the openness of the space is so inviting.  From the port holes forward, to cabinetry throughout a mix of warm wood and white accents creates a bright modern opened feeling representing the build quality of this boat. Yes, it’s a production boat but they put lots of love into it, too. Living on a sailboat offer a unique opportunity to be in harmony with nature and the environment. Embracing a sustainable life onboard will help preserve our oceans and planet for future sailors. Saya comes equipped with the systems to live off grid!  The double lounging space greets you starboard and is a great reading spot in the shade with a friend. Wow! And room for the whole anchorage for sundowners in the spacious cockpit. The elevated semi-flybridge helm station seats two {maybe three) and allows for conversation with the party below. All the sail lines (except the halyards) lead to the helm for easy single-handed sailing. There is plenty of elbow room for winching starboard of the helm for a helpful crew member. Visibility from the helm is excellent! Transition from the cockpit to the saloon is seamless with no steps or obstructions but there is a hidden. covered well for sea splashes and mop water. The double-door to the saloon enlarges the outdoor living space. The galley is conveniently located starboard for easy prep, serving and being a part of the crowd. Ventilation is provided above the sink area but far enough away not to interfere with the stove top flame. Thank you, Jouber – Nivelt! There is also air available from three front port holes and corner fans. Lots of prep space, serving space and storage in this efficient u-shaped kitchen. The owner’s side has an island style bed and two reading lights. This means you do not have to crawl all over the sheets just to make the bed or disturb your neighbor to turn on the light. The bathroom has a separate shower to keep things dry. Forward, is a well-organized storage area or workshop. The guest cabins have semi-island style beds meaning one side has easy access, which is not common in a lot of 44 ft. boats. Also, the guest cabins have their own head and showers as well. The sleeping areas have so many cubby holes for stashing shoes, clothing, books or just keeping reading glasses within easy reach. On deck, the windows are tapered to avoid trip traps when going forward to quickly grab a line or catch a mooring ball. There is a huge access point for the anchor windlass and lounging area on the trampoline to watch the stars at night. The sturdy coach roof holds the solar panels and gives you access to the main sail as needed. AND this boat has a washing machine! This might not seem like a big deal but if you have spent any time washing in a bucket, you will be living in the lap of luxury with this washing machine! Saya is waiting for you on the tropical island of Grenada in the Southern Caribbean – just where you want to start living your dream! Grenada has direct flights from major cities around the world and enjoys the sweet Trade winds all year long. The broker has personally sailed on this boat and happy to answer any questions about this boat or sailing in the Caribbean.
