The Africat 420 is a robustly built and beautifully finished power cat that is rare on the market. After spending three wonderful years on our boat, Lazy Manatee, and completing the Great Loop in November 2025, we're heading back to Europe. Therefore, we sadly have to say goodbye to our "darling." Starting in early December 2025, we'll be back in our home port, Marco Island. With a fresh bottom paint 2023, "Lazy Manatee" is a perfect example of the Marine Trader Tradewinds 43 Sundeck, the popular contemporary motor yacht styled trawler with planning-speed performance. Below decks all teak and Air-Conditioned interior is beautiful and in excellent condition with large wraparound windows and plenty of headroom, the interior is well designed and offers a lot of volume for the size of the boat. Her reliable two 275 Lehman's will deliver a cruising speed of 9 knots and a top speed of 12 knots, however at 7-10 knots the engines will be loafing and a 7-knot cruising speed will burn approximately 3 GPH. The salon has large wrap-around windows and 6'7" headroom. Excellent storage also in the salon with cupboards outboard port, starboard and aft. Going aft and down two steps is the MASTER STATEROOM with A king-sized island berth w/custom mattress, a Marriott-style pillowtop mattress cover. Beautiful teak cabinetry and joiner work make this cabin very comfortable and inviting. Clothes storage is abundant and there are full length bureaus with drawers and very large hanging lockers. Bulkheads are mirrored outboard port and starboard and aft behind the berth. This cabin is extremely well ventilated with opening hatches and ports with new valences. The ENSUITE HEAD features a large stall shower, marine toilet, vanity with sink, mirror and cabinet storage. The aft sundeck is very comfortable and offers easy access to the swim ladder and swim platform. This area is ideal for entertaining or dining with a wet bar with glass and bottle storage and storage cabinets under. Molded fiberglass steps offer access to the flybridge w/ Bimini top and full enclosure, which is also very spacious and inviting for entertaining - with seating for at least 10 people in comfort. All new sanitation hoses installed, including new heads!
