    Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 423

    Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
    2002
    $149,500

The Oceanis 423, unveiled in 2002, is based on the design of Beneteau’s successful 473 and features the latest innovation of Beneteau in the field of cruising pleasure: exceptional lighting thanks to the panoramic hatch and 6’9″ headroom in the saloon, owner’s island berth, ensuite head with separate shower in the fore cabin and a deck plan designed for utmost pleasure under sail or at anchor. “Huaka’i” is the spacious 2-cabin/2-head layout, creating a large double-settee dining area with a galley that opens into a wonderful space that is fully functional, even when underway. In 2003, a Sail Magazine review noted, “the 423’s considerable beam is carried well aft and allows for a wide cockpit; seats are teak trimmed, the coamings are tall enough and angled outboard for comfort, and the walk-through transom makes it easy to board the boat from a dinghy. The deck layout is efficient. Under sail the boat settled into a comfortable groove, was light and responsive to steer, and cut a smooth wake in the light winds of our test. With its smooth helm, surprisingly nimble hull, and attractive features, the 423 successfully offers more for less.” Cruisers will love how well-equipped Huaka’i is, including Raymarine electronic package, 2 solar panels producing a whopping 600 Watts for long periods off-grid, Spectra watermaker, hooka dive compressor, flopper stopper, dinghy and outboard, a huge inventory of UV shades and covers for tropical sailing, and other cruiser-friendly extras, such as: UV dock filtration, dock cart, inflatable stand-up paddle board, and all the fishing gear you will need for casual cruising in Mexico. Innumerable upgrades have been made by the last 2 owners, the most recent of which include: batteries, solar, and electrical systems (including new Lithium in 2022, new AGM Start battery in 2024, & new 3000W invertor); all sails like new, inspected, and/or updated in 2023; new standing rigging in 2015; new engine cooling system in 2025; and upgraded custom mattress in forward stateroom. Huaka’i is a proven cruiser. She has traveled from the PNW south to Mexico and the South Pacific and is now back in Mexico in a single slip in Marina Vallarta, the marina closest to downtown Puerto Vallarta. At this time, the Marina has indicated that the slip is non-transferrable. The current owner is also offering the extra option to negotiate a Mexican vehicle – a 2017 Kia Sportage –with the yacht. This fully-equipped long-distance cruiser is waiting to take you on the adventure of a lifetime. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to own a truly exceptional boat, ready to create lasting memories on the water. Special Features 10-ft. dinghy with outboard included Outfitted for fishing and adventure cruising Lots of recent upgrades Fully kitted for self-sufficiency on the water Tons of spares and extras This vessel is located in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. P.V. is one of the best loved beach destinations in the world. It sits in the center of the stunning Banderas Bay (Bahia de Banderas) and hosts almost 4 million visitors each year. Its laid-back beaches and vibrant nightlife make it a must for hip travelers and ex-pats from all over the world.

Designed, specified and carefully equipped for blue-water adventures, L’Escale is the ultimate in comfort and practicality. Built also for beaching and exploring shallower water. Seaworthiness and high performance are the qualities that make the Allures 45 a true blue-water cruising yacht. The rounded aluminium hull and powerful lines make it safe and fast. Elegant and comfortable, the accommodation is also functional and the high level of the equipment ensures an excellent quality of life on board in all conditions. L’Escale is equipped with an insulated hull and Webasto heater for comfort in colder waters, as well as mosquito nets and good ventilation for warmer climes. The cockpit is sheltered from the sun with a bimini and can be closed with a tent in cooler (and wetter) climates, both at anchor, with the full bimini enclosure, and using a sprayhood enclosure underway. Its teak table and long ergonomic benches encourage voyaging, relaxing and entertaining in equal measure. Sailing continuously for months or even years, L’Escale is made for seafarers - the vast technical space on port and extensive storage throughout enables you to stow all the equipment needed for a limitless cruise, whilst the custom-built workbench supports total independence in remote locations. She comes with an extensive set of spares, at least two years’ worth of most parts. The after cabin, and the extra berth on a frame, plus the possibility to convert the saloon seating to a full-size double bed, encourage you to invite family and friends for a pleasant cruise. The cockpit is comfortable and practical at sea, yet is a delightful space to spend time at anchor, enjoying the view and entertaining guests. The galley is effortlessly efficient. The current owners have undertaken a comprehensive programme of enhancement and ongoing maintenance since new, with no expense spared. There is a complete service history. L’Escale was the Allures boat show yacht for 3 years. L’Escale has enjoyed extended cruising throughout Europe since new, exploring the coasts and coves of the UK and Ireland, a frozen winter in Amsterdam (but cosy!), the canal system of the Netherlands, the Baltic and Scandinavia, France, Spain and Portugal along the Atlantic coast, the Mediterranean coasts and countless islands from West to East as far as Istanbul and back via the Adriatic and Venice, Morocco and then Canaries and Madeira, a total of around 25,000 sea miles. We very much hope new owners will continue the adventure and delight of sailing L’Escale further afield – it is what she is built for! For sale by private treaty and ready now for new horizons and her next adventure.

The First 21.7 is a small high-performance cruiser that is safe and family-oriented with berths. She has the added benefit of being trailerable, so will not only take you far, but follow you everywhere as well!” * Never used by current owner ... and Ai says - This "pocket-rocket" cruiser-racer boasts an enviable level of equipment and a roomy interior : a cruiser in a class of her own.

    2008
    $94,000

The Catalina 350 features deep coamings and seats long enough for sleeping highlight the cockpit. Wide weather decks and inboard shrouds make for secure passages. A divided anchor locker has double rollers and electric windlass. Sail controls are led aft on the cabin top to large winches. The powerful, yet easily managed rig includes ball-bearing blocks. Electric halyard and mainsail winches, furling boom or mast are also available. The versatile accommodations include settees that will serve as sea berths. Private cabins, separate stall shower, generous tankage, large battery banks and big lockers give the 350 the capacity for comfortable cruising. Upgraded electronics, new canvas, new gel cells a few years ago, light usage, has only been weekended on a couple of times, mostly a day sailer. FIN KEEL! She holds her own extremely well, we sailed her from Portland in 20 knots winds without trouble, extremely well handling. Very clean boat, we are the second owners, and we installed the salon table which was still in the plastic! Low hours on motor (it is a sailboat, lol) Again, everything is light use, she is a nice vessel. Life changes are taking us in another direction away from the water. All electronics are upgraded, but the auto pilot is not installed, I just never got around to it, it is all there and ready to be installed(electronics aare installed, need ram piston installed on tiller shaft). Lots to say about it, so I will keep updating this as I think of stuff....I have a copy of the survey from when we purchased her in 2020 from the original owners. Give me a shout and we can talk if this is the boat you are looking for. In mast furling, 6'7" of headroom in cabin, leatherette seating, full shower, upgraded stereo, helm controls for everything, helm vhf radio, tv, stainless appliances, walk thru hull.....she is a real beauty for sure. Sails were washed and reconditioned last year. Bottom paint done yearly as needed, prop speed on prop....all thru hulls mar lubed and maintained yearly, engine kept up and full spare kit on board. Full set of auto inflating life vests included. Flare set on board, as well as life rings. Full custom canvas cover also for winter storage.
